When Mary Magdalene broke her alabaster box of ointment at Jesus’ feet, she poured out her love on Him. But when Jesus gave His body to be broken in death, it allowed His Spirit to be poured out on all flesh. The Spirit of God brings us into the body of Christ, which is the Church. And it is our responsibility to pour out our love on His body, of which He is the head.

Lavishing Love

When Mary Magdalene broke her alabaster box of ointment at Jesus’ feet, she poured out her love on Him. But when Jesus gave His body to be broken in death, it allowed His Spirit to be poured out on all flesh. The Spirit of God brings us into the body of Christ, which is the Church. And it is our responsibility to pour out our love on His body, of which He is the head.
