Rev. Jonathan Sanders, pastor of multiple Hawaiian Island churches (The Rock Kailua, The Rock Honolulu, The Rock Kapolei) gets real with the ALC congregation by encouraging us to remove all excuses for not trying to reach the lost. As a child, Rev. Sanders was placed in a mental institute for three weeks before he was correctly diagnosed with dyslexia. However, in spite of this persistent condition, God has used him to teach over 500 Bible studies. “Excuse is the skin of a reason stuffed with a lie,” declares Rev. Sanders although he continues to face intimidation prior to speaking, similar to many of us.
