The Church is the Bride of Christ. As such, it must become the mother figure, nurturing new converts and acting as a prime example to all congregants. Even as the best mothers exhibit attributes such as love, patience, tolerance, kindness, and strength, they are also submissive to their husbands. Similarly, the Church should take on these attributes to unify from within and bless the Body of Christ.
